OUR CONCEPT

Many dogs show behavioral problems, are skittish or aggressive. The problem is that most therapies and trainings don’t deal with the actual problem. They observe the dog as an isolated individual and not his temperament as part of a social pack structure.

Der Packman has a different approach. We connect the pack dynamic to your dog’s training specifically and give him a much more sustainable learning process, regardless of whether we’re dealing with his social behavior, leash conduct or hunting instincts.

OUR SERVICES

Der Packman offers professional dog training, either in-person or online. We also employ qualified dog walkers to walk your dog when you don’t have the time.

DOG TRAINING:

We work with our own developed technique for dog training, and unlike many other approaches, it concentrates on the dogs rather than people. We don’t just take your dog as an individual into consideration, but also (and always) as a pack animal. This is how we put his natural needs and forms of communication at the forefront.

Our behavior therapy doesn’t take place using human intervention, rather, we use our pack to train your dog. This requires a detailed evaluation of your dog, during which we select just the right pack for his social structure, age and energy levels. This evaluation takes place at the beginning of our work together. We use a simple yet effective evaluation technique – we let our pack do it for us. Because ultimately, no-one understands a dog better than another dog.

DOG WALKING SERVICE:

If you don’t have enough time to give your dog the walk he needs, we’ll gladly take the task off your hands. Our experienced and certified dog walkers will give him the exercise he requires and at the end of the walk, they’ll hand you a calm and relaxed dog.

We place great importance on assembling the pack, because each dog has his own character, individual age and energy level. We start by selecting the group that suits your dog best.

TRUST IN OUR EXPERIENCE

Der Packman’s concept is based on Hatu González’s 25+ years of experience and the comprehensive practical studies he’s done with more than 6,000 dogs. These dogs lived in natural pack structures without human intervention, allowing Hatu to create his own concept and develop it further in many countries, including Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Austria, Belgium, Italy and Germany.
During this time, Hatu González studied canine behavior in great detail, including pack substructures (A-B-C) and the 14 different positions for the division of tasks within a pack. He uses his knowledge to carry out natural dog trainings and ensures long-term training success.
